The Dangers of Blind Loyalty: A Look at Enneagram Type 9

When someone has a 9 personality type, which is a peacemaker, according to the Enneagram. The evident issue that arises from the 9s (peacemakers) going to the 6s (guardians) is something that I am able to communicate with you.

Loyal to the Extreme: In this situation, our well-meaning nine is patiently waiting while another individual commits a crime. The 9s are going to sit quietly. They will not fight the criminal, and they will not put an end to the crime, particularly if they are familiar with the offender or if the person who committed the crime is a member of their own family. We refer to this behavior as the route of disintegration.

Additionally, this is clear in the case when the 9 is working for a boss, namely a boss that is malevolent. As a sign of their dedication to the boss, the 9s will engage in nefarious activities in order to relieve the boss of the responsibility of carrying them out. This is something that every single nine is aware of. Nines have a propensity to be faithful to the point of deceit.

Rather than that, what should they do? The 9 must take the lead and voice their concerns. They must be ready to confront evil, regardless of whether it manifests as a member of their own family or even the boss. The 9 derives its power from the 3, and we refer to this phenomenon as the route of integration.

Additionally, what happens if the offender is your own child? Some food for thinking…

In addition, people who are a part of the 9th wing are also guilty of this, although to a smaller extent, but according to the same premise. Both the One, who is a perfectionist, and the Eight, who is a leader, share the 9 as a potential wing, and they will share, although to a lesser degree, the inherent faults that are associated with the 9.
