Although there are signs of subjects that are linkable to it even back to ancient Greek with Pythagora and to the Ennead in ancient Egypt, the Enneagram as a personality typology system is considerably more modern. Pythagoras was in ancient Greece, and the Ennead was in ancient Egypt. This highlights Enneagram ancient origins and Enneagram history.
In a strict sense, Oscar Ichazo is the one who came up with the idea of using the Enneagram as a typology system. He was also a fantastic example of intellectual 9 that was lost in distribution, despite the fact that Ichazo’s theory was referred to as Proto analysis. The Enneagram was initially made accessible to the general public starting in 1970. This describes Oscar Ichazo Enneagram and Ichazo Protoanalysis.
Claudio Benjamin Naranjo devised the “Enneagram of Personality” in an attempt to sidestep violating Ichazo’s copyright. Naranjo provided the psychological description of the various categories. In addition, I would like to point out that Naranjo made the false assumption that phobia and counterphobia in sixth graders were tied to instinct, although Katherine Fauvre’s empirical research demonstrate that all sixth graders who are able to reach those states are affected by them. In my perspective, the most appropriate way to handle Naranjo is as an early author who participated in his own way, with a gentle reminder that the Enneagram continues to develop. This emphasizes the evolution of the Enneagram.
In 1971, Robert Ochs initiated the third distribution of the Enneagram, which is often referred to as the “Jesuit” Transmission. This describes Robert Ochs Enneagram and Ochs Jesuit Transmission.
In addition, Ochs distributed false information about integration and disintegration by asserting that the lines of connection are one in integration and the other in disintegration. This sort of distribution did not have the subtypes. Ochs participated in a training session led by Naranjo, during which Naranjo tested out the concept… That is, to throw it away in a prompt manner. How come? Among the trialectical systems is the Enneagram. When everything is operational, the whole system is operational. On the other hand, while it is down.
